How Botox Is Priced in Miami

Miami wrinkle treatments are quoted two ways in this market: per unit and per area. A licensed local provider calls you back with how they charge. The sections below cover the label maps and the moving parts, not a dollar menu.

Per unit versus per area

Per unit means you pay for each unit that goes in. Per area means a forehead, a frown, or crow’s feet is a package. Ask which one they use before you sit down. A package can hide a light dose; a per-unit quote can climb if your muscles are strong. Neither is automatically kinder. Clarity is.

Men’s frontalis and corrugators are often thicker. A first-timer who wants a light pass may use fewer units than the labeled map. Both of those facts change a per-unit bill more than they change a flat area price.

What the FDA label actually doses

The October 2024 BOTOX® Cosmetic label gives intramuscular maps for adults:

Frown (glabellar) lines: 4 Units at each of 5 sites, 20 Units total. Crow’s feet (lateral canthal lines): 4 Units at 3 sites per side, 24 Units total. Forehead lines: 4 Units at 5 forehead sites (20 Units) together with the 20-Unit frown map, for a recommended 40 Units when both are treated. Platysma bands: 26, 31, or 36 Units depending on how many vertical bands are treated.

Those numbers are the studied maps, not a requirement that every Miami face receive exactly that count. A provider may go lighter. They should say when they leave the map and why.

What changes the total

How many labeled areas you treat the same day. Whether you also ask about a lip flip or masseter plan (neither is a Cosmetic labeled indication). Which product they open — BOTOX Cosmetic, Dysport®, or Xeomin® — because the labels all say units are not interchangeable. Whether a two-week tweak is included or billed.

Touch-ups are a habit, not a right. Ask. Write down the answer.

Questions worth asking

Is the quote for the labeled frown map, or for “upper face”? Do you charge for the consult if I treat the same day? What happens if one side looks stronger at two weeks? Call (786) 432-0102 when you want that conversation with a licensed local provider. Related: Botox vs Dysport vs Xeomin.

A quote without a map is a guess. The frown’s 20 Units, crow’s feet’s 24, and the forehead-plus-frown 40 are the FDA-studied counts for BOTOX Cosmetic. If a package is “upper face,” ask how many units that package actually holds.

Dysport’s labeled frown is 50 Units. Xeomin’s frown is 20. Those are not a conversion table. They are three products. Ask which vial, then ask how they count.

Touch-up policies vary. Some include a two-week look. Some bill it. Some only tweak if they under-dosed a labeled map. Get that in a sentence you can repeat.

No dollar figures are listed until a price is supplied for publication. Call (786) 432-0102 and ask the provider who returns the call. Related: the brands guide.

Men, first-timers, and a three-area day are three different bills even when the per-unit number is the same. Say which one you are.
