provider talking with a patient in a consult chair by a window

book Botox in Miami starts with a conversation, then a map, then small intramuscular shots. A licensed local provider calls you back to set that visit. Nothing here is personal medical advice.

Before you sit down

Arrive with a clean forehead if you can. List prior toxin, any droopy lid in old photos, pregnancy or nursing questions for the provider, and the areas you care about. Do not put medications or your date of birth on the form. That belongs in the room.

Ask who injects, who the medical director is if that person is not a physician, and which product they plan to open. You can verify a Florida license later at FLHealthSource.

Marking and injections

You frown, raise, and smile. Dots go on the labeled maps if you are treating frown, crow’s feet, or forehead. BOTOX® Cosmetic’s frown map is five points. Crow’s feet are three per side. Forehead is five points plus the frown when both are treated. If they mark a lip or a jaw, that is off the Cosmetic indication list — make sure you wanted that conversation.

If they mark in ink, labels for these products warn not to inject through the ink. That is a tattoo risk, not folklore.

The first two weeks

Xeomin’s label describes a median onset of two to seven days. BOTOX Cosmetic’s trials score results at planned visits rather than a single start day. Small welts fade. Asymmetry at day four can still settle; asymmetry at day fourteen is a reason to use the follow-up they offered. The Medication Guide says it is not known whether Cosmetic treatment is appropriate more than once every three months.

When to call them back

Trouble swallowing, speaking, or breathing after any botulinum toxin is emergency care, then the provider. That is the boxed warning. A heavy brow, a crooked smile, or a lid that will not lift is a same-week call to the person who injected you, not a second random form on the internet.

How to start

Call (786) 432-0102 or send the form. Related: baby Botox for a light first map, about this referral for the license lookup.

Consent should include the boxed warning. If a room skips it, that is a signal. Distant spread is rare in cosmetic maps and still printed in bold. You want the person who is willing to say that out loud.

Photos in the chart, if they take them, are for the follow-up, not for a website. Before-and-after pictures are not shown.

Sitting upright, ice, and a clean forehead are common asks. Lying flat and a hard workout are common avoids for the rest of that day. Again: the sheet in your hand wins.

If you are flying out of MIA the next morning, say so. Some providers would rather wait. Call (786) 432-0102 with the travel date.

A two-week look is when you judge a frown, not night one. Night one is welts and a story you tell at dinner. Keep those times straight.
